Dar in Washington to attend annual WB-IMF meetings

WASHINGTON Oct 9 (Online): Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has arrived in Washington to lead the Pakistani delegation at the annual World Bank-IMF meetings‚
The Pakistani delegation includes Finance Secretary‚ Governor State Bank and Secretary Economic Affairs Division.
The Finance Minister will apprise officials and experts of Islamabad's policy to turn around the national economy through a series of fiscal and economic reforms.
The Finance Minister will also hold bilateral meetings with his counterparts from several countries on advancing trade and economic cooperation.
He will also discuss strengthening economic cooperation with U.S. officials during the visit.
