Bail petition of Salman Akram Raja filed in LHC

LAHORE Oct 09 (Online): Senior Supreme Court advocate, Salman Akram Raja Wednesday filed a petition for bail in a case registered against him under the Telegraph Act, for allegedly threatening Justice Jawad S Khawaja of the apex court through a mobile text message.
Sources said that the renowned and respected advocate Salman Akram Raja filed his petition for bail in the Lahore High Court (LHC) here.
Eminent advocate Senator Aitzaz Ahsan, office bearers of the LHC Bar and a large number of senior lawyers also accompanied Salman Akram Raja for his moral support on the occasion of his filing the petition.
