Islamabad police arrests 17 culprits in diferent raids

Islamabad, Oct. 09 (Online): Islamabad Police on Wednesday arrested seventeen outlaws for having involvement in different criminal activities and recovered alcohol, narcotics, and snatched items from their possession, a police spokesman said.
ASI Tanveer Ahmad of Kohsar Police station, along with others, arrested Nasir Ali for snatching 200 dollars from a foreigner. In a separate incident, Munawar Masih was nabbed for having 13 wine bottles by a police team lead by ASI Ashfaq Ahmed from Bhara Kau police station.
ASI Fakhar Abbass from Margallah police, Sub-Inspectors Nusrat Ali and Muneer Ahmed from Golra police in two separate raids arrested a mobile phone snatcher named shakeel, three drug pushers identified as Zareef, Abid Mehmud and Abdul Majeed, recovering Mobiles Phones, 1.470 kilograms Hashish and 1.260 kilograms Opium from their possession, respectively.
Moreover, Sub-Inspector Muhammad Ishaq from Loi Bher police station raided at Mughal guesthouse in Swan Garden area and recovered ten persons for their alleged involvement in immoral activities. The nabbed persons have been identified as Ajmal, Roza Gul, Nazakat Ali, Nabeel, Barkat, Adnan Sadiq, Waqas Shabbir, Khuram Aziz, Amna Liaqat, Nadia and Shazia Aslam.
Cases have been registered against the detainees and further investigation has been initiated.
SSP Islamabad Muhammad Rizwan has appreciated this overall performance and directed all police officials to ensure effective policing.
