Integrated efforts for promotion of technical education in Balochistan

QUETTA: Balochistan government has implemented improvement
of technical education and vocational training project in the province.
As many as Rs 1.29 billion project had been implemented in collaboration
with Asian Development Bank and was completed in 2010.
Balochistan Education department sources told APP here Wednesday that
under the project a polytechnic colleges for girls had been established in Pasni and for boys in Khuzdar. Latest equipments had been installed to various disciplines of polytechnic colleges for boys and girls in the provincial capital under the project.
The government is already implementing different projects in the
province to promote technical education. Establishment of these colleges will produce skilled hands who will be accommodated in Gwadar deep water port, industries and other development projects elsewhere in the province, the sources added. APP
