Govt switching 3 Power plants to coal generating cheap electricity

ISLAMABAD, Oct 14 (Online): The Federal Government is switching three Thermal Power plants at Muzaffargarh‚ Jamshoro and Guddu using coal to generate cheap electricity.
The 1350-megawatt thermal power plant Muzaffargarh‚ 850-megawatt Jamshoro‚ and 640-megawatt Guddu are being converted coal with multilateral financial assistance.
Officials said benefits of producing cheap electricity will be transferred to the consumers.
