TAMBOO Oct 18 (PPI): One hundred and seventy workers of Pakistan People’s Party embraced shahadat in Karsaz incident and proved that party accords priority to martyrdom instead of bowing before terrorists.
This was stated by President PPP Balochistan and former provincial minister Muhammad Sadiq Umrani while addressing workers at his residence here Friday.
He aid party played vanguard role against terrorism and Benazir Bhutto sacrificed her life while ruling clique seemed helpless before terrorism.
He said party workers and our leaders did not learn a lesson of bowing heads but to cut their heads. He aid when Benazir Bhutto returned to Pakistan on October 18 brave party workers form every nook and corner of the country went to received her in Karachi. But terrorists and cruel conducted bomb explosions and killed 170 workers but they did not let their leaders to any injury.
Sadiq Umrani said PPP has always fought war against dictatorial undemocratic forces and terrorism and our leaders and workers gave their lives but did not deviate from Bhutto ism.
He aid it is demand of time and situation terrorism and terrorism should be completely eliminated from the country. He said nation needs peace, equality and brotherhood. PPP form day one has been extending cooperation to the government in office for democracy and stability of the country. But he added government has left the people at the mercy of terrorists. He said price hike and unemployment is at its peak. Life and property of any person in the country is not safe. He said we salute martyrs of Karsaz incident. Their shahadat is beacon light for us all.
He said address of patron in chief of party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is infact voice of whole nation.
