QUETTA Oct 21 (PPI): Balochistan Home Minister Sarfraz Bugti has said attack on Jaffar Express is not service to Baloch but maligning them. It is very much condemned. He announced Rupees one million for each deceased person’s family and Rupees 0.2 million for every injured persons.
Addressing a Press conference at Civil Secretariat here Monday evening Home Minister said in remote control bomb explosion at Jaffar Express training moving form Rawalpindi to Quetta Monday six people were killed and 9 injured. Eight injured were discharged form hospital while one was still under treatment.
He said after the incident district officers of Nasirabad, Jaffarabad and Dera Murad Jamali were directed for timely treatment of injured persons and despatching dead bodies to their respective areas.
He said such incidents of terrorism are very much condemnable. He said such incidents are no service to Baloch but a conspiracy to malign Baloch people and country around the world.
Sarfraz Bugti asked insurgent organistions to come to negotiating table giving up their gun. He said federal government has fully empowered Balochistan chief Minister in this connection. Chief Minister would hold direct talks with insurgents by taking provincial leadership into confidence. But he added talks can only be fruitful when there is positive response from both sides. He said government is serious and would do its best for the security of peole. He said effective action would be against criminal elements and tough and effective measures would be made during Muharramul Haram. He said FC has been given one month time for security of people during Muharram because it is also our force.
Answering a question provincial Home Minister said Dera Bugti is not No Go area. Those leveling such charges live in Dera Bugti.
Answering another question he said if there is Indian hand in incidents in Balochistan. It is federal government to bring facts before the masses.
He said doctors did not point out adductors of Dr Munaf Tareen. Government was working in this connection in an organized manner. Soon he would be recovered.
