Finance Ministry releases Rs 700 million for Steel Mill

ISLAMABAD, Oct 24 (Online): Ministry of Finance has released Rs 700 million in respect of salaries of Pakistan Steel Mill (PSM) employees.
As per Media reports, spokesperson to Ministry of Finance Rana Asad Ameen said that release of this amount has been made under the approved strategy of Economic Coordination Committee (ECC).
He said this amount has been released in regard of salaries and other important expenses of PSM employees.
While due to shortage of amount, production of steel mill has been reduced up to 4 % and employees have not been given their salaries for last 2 months.
