CM Sindh invites Chinese companies to set up textile units in Karachi

KARACHI Oct 24 (Online): Sindh Chief Minister‚ Syed Qaim Ali Shah‚ now on a visit to China has invited Chinese companies to set up textile units in the Textile City being developed at the Port Industrial Area in Karachi.

He extended the invitation during his visit to the state-owned Sichuan Textile Import-Export Corporation. He assured them of maximum support for boosting trade ties and finding out avenues for mutual cooperation between Sichuan Textile Import and Export Corp and APTMA of Sindh.

Various business groups of Sichuan province called on the Chief Minister.

Syed Qaim Ali Shah invited the Business Houses to explore investment opportunities that the province offers and undertake investment in Sindh.

The Chief Minister visited the Pakistan pavilion at the Western China International Fair where some seventy enterprises from Pakistan showcased the products.

Syed Qaim Ali Shah also participated in the Western China International Cooperation Forum.
