Dry weather likely in most parts of country

ISLAMABAD, Oct 24 (APP): Pakistan Meteorological Department
(PMD) on Thursday forecast mainly dry weather for most parts of the
country during the next 24 hours.
However, partly cloudy condition and light rain is expected at
isolated places of Malakand division and Gilgit-Baltistan during
the next 24 hours.
According to the synoptic situation, continental air was
prevailing in the country.
The weather would remain dry in most parts of Punjab, Sindh,
Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Kashmir during the next 24
hours.
The rainfall recorded during the last 24 hours was Parachinar
10 mm, Kalam 02 mm, Chitral and Dir 01 mm.
The maximum temperatures recorded during the last 24 hours
were Islamabad 31 C, Lahore 31 C, Karachi 36 C, Peshawar 29 C,
Quetta 25 C, Skardu 21 C, Murree 20 C, Muzzafarabad 30 C, Gilgit 27
C, Faisalabad 33 C, Multan 35 C and Hyderabad 36 C.
