Three injured as Indian forces open fire at working boundary

PASRUR Oct 25 (Online): In a recent incident, three persons sustained injuries in Charwah sector when Indian troops opened fire and bombed at the working boundary in Charwah sector.

According to the sources, as many as six houses were completely destroyed due to the shelling while several domestic animals were also killed.

Indian Border Security Forces (BSF) continued their unprovoked firing and shelling along the working boundary in Sialkot sector Friday morning, injuring at least 3 people.

Military sources said Indian troops used light weapons and resorted to mortar shelling in Sialkot’s Bajwat and Charwa sectors along the working boundary, killing several animals as well as destroying a number of houses.

At least fourteen people have been injured in Indian firing during last week.

In another LoC ceasefire violation, Indian forces continued unprovoked firing in Charwah Sector near Sialkot, injuring two civilians.

Chenab Rangers said India continues unprovoked firing along the working boundary and Pakistan side is exercising maximum restraint to avoid any escalation.
