MQM may join Sindh government: sources

DUBAI Oct 25 (Online): Top cadres of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) reached Dubai for negotiations with the leaders of Pakistan People’s Party in connection with the broad-based cooperation in the province.

According to the sources, Governor Sindh Dr Ishrat Ul Ebad Khan, Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Adil Siddiqui, Babar Ghaur and Deputy Convener Nadem Nusrat from London arrived in Dubai at the directives of Muttahida Chief Altaf Hussain.

Former interior minister Rehman A. Malik will also attend this meeting.

The sources said leaders from the two parties will discuss the prospects of the MQM to join hands with the government in Sindh.
