FMA jacks up atta bag price by Rs 25

LAHORE, Oct 26 (Online): Flour Mills Association (FMA) has announced to enhance rate of 20 kilogram atta bag by Rs 25.
As per media reports, Flour Mills owners said in a press conference here government is going to increase the support price of wheat from Rs 1200 to Rs 1500 per maund. If it is done so then price of 20 kilogram atta bag will go upto Rs 925 and it will go out of reach of the poor masses.
The flour mills owners announced to sell 20 kilogram atta bag at the rate of Rs 810 with increasing the cost of per bag by Rs 25 on the pretext of hike in power tariff and price of petroleum products.
