ISLAMABAD, Oct 30 (Online): Capital Development Authority (CDA) auctioned plot no 20, sector G-11/3, Plot no 02, Markaz E-11, Northern Strip and Plot no 05, Blue Area, F-8/G-8 to Saif Ullah Bangash in November 2012 against which 25% advance payment was made by the successful bidder.

As per procedure Saif Ullah Bangash was required to deposit remaining 75% amount to CDA.

However the same amount was not deposited within stipulated time. Consequently Capital Development Authority (CDA) as per procedure after completing the caudal formalities cancelled the subject plots.

Saif Ullah Bangash invoked Islamabad High Court (IHC) against CDA decision. Accordingly Justice Shoukat Siddiqui on October 24, 2013 directed Saif Ullah Bangash to deposit the remaining amount against auctioned plots within 3 days but Mr. Saif Ullah Bangash failed to do so.

Consequently the court conducted the hearing of the subject case on October 28, 2013. No lawyer or representative on behalf of Saif Ullah Bangash appeared before the court. The court therefore dismissed the case.

In line with the above mentioned proceedings the CDA has included these plots in the list of commercial plots to be auctioned in November.
