Peace in Pakistan possible with peace in Afghanistan: Ghafoor Haideri

Abdul Ghafoor Haideri has said that peace in Pakistan is possible with establishment of peace in Afghanistan.

On Wednesday, while expressing his views with media persons outside parliament house JUI-F senator stated that stability of Pakistan and Afghanistan is interconnected.

Ghafoor Haideri said, “Peace in Pakistan can bring peace in Afghanistan and instability in Afghanistan will bring terrorism in Pakistan”.

Negotiations should be held for establishing peace in the region, and 1st condition in this regard should be that Pakistan and Afghanistan will not interfere in each other’s country, he added.

Commenting on the issue of Local Bodies (LB) polls, senior leader JUI-F said, “LB polls should be held on time either on party or non-party basis, because it will resolve the issues of people on grass root level”.

LB system has also resolved the problems of people in past and powers should be transferred to lower level as soon as possible, he concluded.
