Sindh Govt Set to Launch Drive for Recovery of Illicit weapons

KARACHI, Nov 1 (Online): Sindh government has started preparations to launch operation for recovery of illegal weapons across the province.
Informed sources told a private TV channel that the Home Department has collected data of arms licenses, issued during last 13 years.
The data shows that more than 10,64,000 arms licensed arms are there in the province.
It shows that more than 2,60,000 licensed weapons are there in five districts of Karachi, more than 3,70,000 in Hyderabad division, more than 1,24,000 in Mirpur Khas division, more than 1,50,000 in Sukkur division and more than, 1,50,000 in Larkana division.
Sources said all of these figures had been provided to Law Enforcement Agencies prior to launching of operation.
