NP announces contesting LG polls

QUETTA,Nov 04 (APP):Baloch nationalist party, National Party has announced to contest local bodies elections to be conducted in Balochistan in upcoming month of December.
Addressing a press conference along with Provincial Health Minister Mir
Rahmat Baloch,Mir Jan Muhammad Buledi and other party leaders,NP senior leader,Mir Hasil Bezinjo said that their party had decided to contest local government elections in Balochistan.
R"especting the Supreme Court orders,the Balochistan government has agreed to conduct local bodies" elections in the province on December 07" he said, adding therefore, the NP had decided to contest LG polls.
He,however, said that present circumstances were not suitable for holding of LG elections in Balochistan, as saying that people of cold areas of the province used to migrate to hot areas during winter season while law and order situation was not satisfied in some areas besides Awaran district was devastated by powerful earthquake.
He said that the Balochistan government had stance that March 2014 would be suitable time for conducting of LG polls.He,however,said that respecting the Apex Court's orders, the provincial government agreed to conduct LG elections in December 2013. He instructed the party activist to kick off the preparations for contesting these polls.
