AIOU to mark ‘Iqbal Day’ on November 25

ISLAMABAD, Nov 21 (INP): Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) will hold a special function to mark “Iqbal Day” on November 25 at 10:00 am in its main Auditorium.

Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Reforms, Ahsan Iqbal will grace the occasion as a chief guest while Vice-Chancellor, AIOU Prof. Dr. Nazir Ahmed Sangi will preside over the function.

This was announced by Prof. Dr. Shahid Iqbal Kamran, Chairman, Department of Iqbaliyat, AIOU.

He said that Farzand-e-Iqbal, Justice (Retd) Dr. Javed Iqbal will deliver his keynote address on “The soul of Islamic culture” and Iqbal Feroz, Patron-in-Chief, Rebaat-e-Iqbal will address on the topic “Iqbal ka Pegham Nojawano Kay Ley”.

Department of Iqbaliyat, AIOU with the support and collaboration of Directorate of Students Advisory, AIOU and ‘Rebaat-e-Iqbal Pakistan’ has arranged the function.

Four hundred copies of ‘Kulyat-e-Iqbal Urdu’ would also be distributed amongst the participants on the occasion.
