Clash between 2 student unions leaves 8 injured at Dawood University

KARACHI, Nov 27 (Online): A clash between two student unions of Dawood College of Engineering and Technology (DCET) has left 8 students injured.

The police interfered to stop the conflict, which erupted due to reasons unknown.

According to reports the two student unions of DEU hit each other with free use of sticks, batons and also used guns. As a result, eight students sustained injuries.

The injured were rushed to hospital for treatment.

As the police entered the university to calm the situation down the students both the union students made a run.

However police is yet to take legal action.

The studies could not resume in the university due to spread of fear amongst the students and faculty.
