PML-N Balochistan seeks support for Mayor of Quetta

QUETTA, Dec 02 (APP): Pakistan Muslim League-N Balochistan has demanded
of the coalition partners to support PML-N candidate for the office of Mayor of Quetta.
Addressing a press conference, at Quetta Press Club, here on Monday afternoon, senior leaders of PML-N Balochistan including the General Secretary, Nasibullah Bazai, PML-N leader and the former Mayor and district Nazim of Quetta, Abdul Rahim Kakar, the City General Secretary, Hamayun Alkozai and others said that the PML-N, a largest party of the country have given offices of the Governor Balochistan and Chief Minister Balochistan to its coalition partners and now morally, it was responsibility of them to support and vote for the PML-N candidate for the office of Mayor of Quetta.
"Despite the fact that PML-N has majority in the Balochistan Assembly, it gave the offices of Governor Balochistan to Pashtoonkhawa Milli Awami Party and Chief Minister to National Party," they said, adding that therefore, now morally, the coalition partners should support and vote for the PML-N candidate for the Mayor of Metropolitan Quetta.
They said that presently, Quetta city has been facing several problems including deteriorating law and order, very poor condition of roads, sewerage system and cleanliness, adding that after assuming charge of the Metropolitan Corporation Quetta, the PML-N would pay special heed to resolve these problems on priority basis.
They said that PML-N enjoying popularity among masses and would win seats in 58 wards of Quetta City as it fielded candidate for the slot of Mayor of Quetta Metropolitan Corporation.
