Arrangements for local bodies' elections in Balochistan finalized

Quetta Dec 5 (Online) Balochistan Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik has said arrangements have been finalized to hold free and fair local bodies elections in the province on Saturday.
Talking to newsmen in Quetta on Thursday ‚ he said civil administration and Frontier Corps and Army are fully prepared to provide foolproof security to the voters and polling staff.
The Chief Minister said about fifty five thousand security personnel have been deployed to ensure peace. At the same time‚ five thousand Army personnel will be ready to meet any eventuality as quick response force.
To a question‚ he said participation of over twenty two thousand candidates in the polls is a good omen for democracy.
