LB poll schedule for Sindh likely to be issued on Dec 9

QUETTA Dec 7 (Online): The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) will issue the local bodies (LB) polls schedule for Sindh on December 09.
The electoral body had asked the Punjab and Sindh to fulfill the legal requirements for the polls by December 6. However, Sindh and Punjab had sought three and seven more days respectively.
ECP Secretary Ishtiaque Ahmed said that LB elections in Sindh will be held on January 18 and in Punjab on January 30.
Ahmed also praised the Balochistan government, administration, political parties, political forces and the people for being the first province to hold LB polls in the country.
He added that all political parties in Balochistan were satisfied with the preparation for polls.
