Two children die in gas explosion

QUETTA Dec 10 (Online): Two children died in gas explosion while three others sustained injuries on Tuesday in Quetta.
The incident took place on Tuesday morning in Quetta’s Ghausabad area.
According to police and rescue officials, the ill-fated family members forgot to turn off a burning gas heater before going to sleep.
Officials said anyone might have showed a match stick to the heater in the gas-filled room which caused the explosion.
It was not immediately clear whether the kids died of suffocation or the blast. Three other family members also sustained injuries when the room caught fire.
