Seminar on International Anti Corruption Day

QUETTA Dec 9 (PPI): Corruption a menace a big hurdle in the uplift of nations. Corruption prevails almost in every sphere in any one shape or the other. There is no doubt reason of lagging Pakistani nation behind is because of corruption and we are included in progressive rather backward countries.
These views were expressed by former Caretaker Prime Minister Hazar Khan Khosa while addressing a seminar on International anti Corruption Day organized by NAB Balochistan here Monday.
MPA Ms Yasmeen Lehri, Chief Coordinator to Balochistan Chief Minister Dr Ishaq Baloch, Director General NIM Mahfooz Ali Khan, noted writer and peat Amjad Islam Amjad also spoke on the occasion.
Hazar Khan Khosa said by improving administrative matter and financial discipline corruption can be eliminated and thus resources can be developed for the progress and building of the nation. He called for effective and stringent measures for eradication of corruption. People from all walks of life would have to play their role by extending cooperation with National Accountability Bureau.
In their speeches Ms Yasmeen Lehri and Ishaq Baloch said that it is clear and bright reality without elimination corruption from its roots achieving development goals not possible. In this era of competition we cannot harmonise with demands of modern age without ending menace like corruption nor we can compete with developed nations. They said government in office was taking strict and effective measures for eliminating corruption and soon we would get rid of this curse.
