Drone attack in Khyber Agency kills 5 militants

Khyber Agency, Dec. 12 (Online): At least five suspected militants were killed in US drone attack on Pak-Afghan border in Khyber Agency, lawless tribal region of Pakistan, official sources said on Saturday.
According to FATA political administration source, US unmanned aircrafts fired two missiles which hit a boat in Kabul River inside Pakistan’s territory of Khyber Agency on Saturday noon.
Five suspects were killed in Saturday attack; however their identification could not be confirmed so far.
This was unique strike when CIA run drone targeted a boat as in past, drones have been targeted compounds and vehicles used by suspects.
US drones mostly target suspected militants in North Waziristan but Saturday attack was carried out in Khyber Agency after a long time.
