CJP hails SC staff for not involved in corruption

ISLAMABAD, Dec 19 (Online): Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Tassadaq Hussain Jillani appreciated officers and staff of Supreme Court (SC) over their dedication, honesty and non-involvement in corruption.
He was addressing staff members of the Supreme Cout here on Thursday.
Chief Justice in his address said that it is a matter of pleasure that staff and officers are performing their duties with devotion, commitment, dedication and with honesty and not a single complaint about corruption has been received about any one of them for which they deserve appreciation and commendation.
He further added that the apex court is final arbiter of law and a dignified institution, adding the judgments of Supreme Court are final and are binding on all other courts.
“The credibility and dignity of the Court in the society is on account of the efficient performance and hardworking of the staff members,†mentioned Jillani.
The CJP informed that a two-member committee has been constituted to revise the service rules, which will be finalized soon in order to minimize plethora of problems.
Justice Tassadaq Hussain Jillani also heard in detail the problems of staff patiently and assured to resolve the same on priority basis.
Earlier, Dr. Faqir Hussain Registrar Supreme Court of Pakistan congratulated the Chief Justice of Pakistan on assuming the high office on his own behalf and on behalf of the staff and officers of Supreme Court.
He briefed the Chief Justice about the working of the staff and also highlighted the efficient performance and services being rendered by the staff members.
