Bodies of couple found in Kabul

KABUL CITY, Dec 26 (INP): Two dead bodies were found behind the Barikot Cinema in the Deh Mazang locality of Afghan capital Kabul, police said on Thursday.

The corpses of a man and a woman had been placed in two sacks on Wednesday night, the Kabul police headquarters said in a statement. The bodies were taken to the forensic department.

According to the statement, the motive behind the murder and identities of the victims were yet to be established. “Most of such incidents are linked to moral corruption.”

Police said nobody had been arrested so far in connection with the murder. But an investigation is underway.
