Music gala in connection with Christmas celebrations held at RAC

RAWALPINDI, Dec 26 (INP) Rawalpindi Arts Council organized music gala in connection with Christmas celebrations. Member National Assembly Tahira Aurangzeb flanked by Dr Fauzia Moghees from NHSD, Naheed Manzoor, Resident Director RAC Waqar Ahmed and Sabtain Lodhi from ICLC was chief guest at the occasion.
The ceremony started with cutting of Christmas cake. Addressing at the occasion, Member National Assembly Tahira Aurangzeb said that word “Minority†must not be used for Christian community as efforts of this community are same as the Muslims did for the establishment of Pakistan. She further said freedom of religion in Pakistan is more than any other country.
Tahira added that Pakistan is achieving progress in the light of Quaid-e-Azam’s interpretations. Naheed Manzoor said that Rawalpindi Arts Council every year participated in the pleasures of Christian community. NHSD, NBP and ICLC cooperated a lot in the organizing of music gala. The singers Sajjad Rai of Rai Media group, Sahil, Manan, Lucky group, Sheraz Rana, Joggi Band, Sunny and others performed at music gala.
