QUETTA: The Government Teachers Association of Balochistan (GTAB) has announced schedule of elections of the association.
According to a press release issued here, the election committee of the GTAB met under the chair of its chairman, Abdul Karim.
As per the schedule, the nomination papers for the elections would be received on December 31. The scrutiny of the papers would be conducted on January 01, 2014. The polling for election of the office bearers for next three years period is scheduled to be held on January 07, 2014.
The chairman of the election committee would be Abdul Karim while other members in the committee include Muhammad Hasan Lehri, Nausherwan Kurd and Naseer Ahmed Taran.
Abdul Karim, as per the release, announced that the suspended district associations have been allowed to restore conditionally and use their vote in the elections. However, they have been asked to deposit their arrears with the new elected cabinet.
