Women hockey coaching camp begins

QUETTA: The women hockey coaching camp has been set up in the Government Girls Degree College, Quetta cantonment here.
The camp has been organized by the Balochistan Women Hockey Association in collaboration with the National Bank of Pakistan.
Around 30 students from Government Degree Girls College, Hasan Musa Girls College as well as different other schools are taking part in the camp.
The coaching camp will remain continued till December 30, 2013.
It may be mentioned here that the camp is meant for preparations of the provincial women hockey team for the forthcoming National Women Hockey Championship scheduled to be held in Sind latter in February 2014.
According to the President of BWHA, Mrs. Surriya Allahdin, the championship has been delayed due to the local bodies’ elections in Sind.
She said that it is our endeavour to train the players well for the championship so that they may earn laurels for the province and the country.
