Six tortured bodies recovered in Karachi

KARACHI, Dec 27 (INP): Six bodies with their hands and legs tied and bore torture signs were recovered from Lyari adjoining Rexer Bridge on Friday morning.
The deceased were identified as Gulzar, Dilawar, Shahzad, Sajid, Rizwan, and Amir and they residents of Pak Colony, police said.
Police said the deceased were kidnapped and then gunned down in a gang war fashion.
Police have shifted the bodies to the Civil Hospital for autopsy.
A minor girl was killed in an apparent grenade attack on a house in Karachi’s PECHS area.
Police and rescue teams rushed to the blast site. According to details, a hand grenade was hurled at a house located on Khalid Bin Walid Road in PECHS Block 3.
A minor girl was critically injured in the blast and died on way to hospital, rescue officials said.
Bomb disposal squad also arrived at the site to determine nature of the blast.
