Teaching departments closed in UoB for winter vacation

QUETTA: The teaching departments have been closed in the University of Balochistan (UoB) for winter vacation.
According to a notification issued here by Directorate of Human Resource, UoB, the teaching departments would remain closed till February 26, 2014 and would re-open on February 27, 2014.
However, as per the notification, the M.A / M.Sc annual examination – 2013 will be held as per schedule.
All the deans and heads of departments would remain present during the vacations. In case of chairperson of any department, intends to leave for vacations, he / she would propose a substitute to act as chairperson of the department.
All the teaching staff, who are involved in the said examinations would be liable to be present during the said examinations.
As per the notification, the concerned teacher must remain present in the examination hall during his / her paper.
Moreover, all non-teaching staff of the departments would remain on duty during the vacations, if found absent, strict disciplinary action would be initiated against them.
Annual exams of M.L.I.S:
The UoB has announced the schedule of annual examination of M.L.I.S for the year 2013.
According to the announcement made by the Controller of Examinations, University of Balochistan, the students appearing in the examinations may note that the same are scheduled to commence from January 13, 2014.
