PYO seminar to highlight youths’ sacrifices for democracy

KARACHI, 10 Jan (Online): Peoples Youth Organization (PYO) would be hosting a Seminar titled “Democratic Struggle, Shaheed Benazir Bhutto & her martyred comrades” at Karachi press club today.

The basic purpose of Seminar is to highlight the sacrifices of young party workers mostly were between 20 to 40 years of their age persecuted by the military Junta of Zia-ul-Haq, and whose only guilt was their desire for a democratic Pakistan & they were chanting slogans of “Jeay Bhutto”, unacceptable for the then dictator.

According to President PYO Karachi, Rauf Ahmed Nagori, the seminar will be presided by Mian Raza Rabbani and opposition leader in National assembly Syed
Khurshid Shah will be the chief guest.

Among other speakers invited to deliver their speech are, Sherry Rehman, Senator Saeed Ghani, Senator Aazij Dhamra, Nazeer Leghari, Mazhar Abbas, Mujahid Bralvi, Mehmood Sham, Abdul Qadir Patel and Imtiaz Faran.
