QUETTA: Jama’at-e-Islami Balochistan leaders have condoled the death of the renowned Pashto poet and writer, Abual Khair Zaland.
The JI leaders including Bashir Ahmed Mandai, Maulana Muhammad Arif Dummar and Abdul Sattar Ababaki visited the residence of the late and expressed their condolence with his sons.
They said that Zaland was a famous poet and writer of the province, who also remained active from the platform of media highlighting the issues of the province.
He also struggled for reformation of the society using his pen, they maintained.
The JI leaders also said that Abual Khair Zaland was an asset for the Pashtoons.
PkMAP: A delegation of Pashtoonkhaw Milli Awami Party (PkMAP) also visited the residence of Zaland and offered fateha for his departed soul.
The PkMAP delegation was comprised the central Secretary General of the party, Akram Shah, Secretary Information, Raza Muhammad Raza, Provincial President, Usman Khan Kakar, provincial deputy Secretary and MPA, Nasarullah Zeray, Ahmed Jan, besides others.
They paid rich tributes to the late Zaland on his services. They said that the late rendered valuable services on political and literary fronts as an active member of the Pashtoon nationalist movement.
His literary work is also an asset for the Pashtoons, they commended.
DPR: The officials of Directorate of Public Relations have expressed their deep grief and sorrow over demise of the prominent poet, writer and researcher of Pashto language, Abual Khair Zaland and widow of revolutionary poet, Habib Jalib, Mumtaz Begum.
In their joint condolence statements issued here, the Director of Public Relations, Nasarullah Khan Kakar, Assistant Director Paind Khan Kharoti, Assistant Director Bashir Khan Mandokhel, Assistant Director, Sikandar Khan Babar, Assistant Director, Taimoor Khan Kakar, Assistant Director, Abdul Bari Baloch and Assistant Director Asif Ali Baloch said that the death of Abual Khair Zaland has caused irreparable loss to the Pashtoo language and literature.
