ISLAMABAD, Jan 22 (Online): The Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan Wednesday expressed grave concern over continued plight of Shahzain Bugti and his tribesmen as they seek to return to their homes in Dera Bugti following a decision of the Supreme Court.

The PTI chief In a statement said that the caravan of Bugti tribe which has been stopped from going home at Kashmore also includes women, children and the elderly all of whom are being forced to camp under the open sky in this extremely cold.

Imran called upon the government to immediately facilitate the home return of these ‘Bugtis’ on humanitarian grounds, adding that the treatment being meted out to the Bugti caravan was inhuman and simply unacceptable.

"At a time when we should be reaching out to all our Baloch brethren so that we can reduce the feeling of disenfranchisement and marginalization amongst them, this cruelty being shown to the Bugti caravan seeking a return to their homes simply reaffirms the negative propaganda our enemies convey to our Baloch citizens", Khan added.

Imran reiterated that the government should facilitate the return of Shahzain Bugti and his caravan to Dera Bugti immediately, instead of putting unnecessary obstacles effectively denying them this return.
