Soldier martyred in Dir landmine blast laid to rest in Muzaffargarh

MUZAFFARGARH, Sept 16 (INP): The solider martyred in Upper Dir landmine blast along with a Major General and Lieutenant Colonel was laid to rest with military honour here on Monday.
Hundreds of people including family members, relatives, army officials and dwellers of the area attended the funeral prayers of Lance Naik Irfan Sattar held here at Mehmoodkot area of Muzaffargarh.
The deceased was later laid to rest at ancestral graveyard with complete military honour.
Speaking on the occasion, the family members of the martyred soldier said that they were proud of Irfan who sacrificed his life for country and a noble cause. They also paid rich tribute to other martyrs of the Pak Army and urged the soldiers to keep their morale up.
