President‚ PM condole Fasih Iqbal’s death

ISLAMABAD, Feb 21 (ONline): President Mamnoon Hussain and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif have expressed profound grief and sorrow over the demise of former Senator and veteran journalist Fasih Iqbal.
A well-known journalist, chief editor of daily Balochistan Times and daily Zamana Quetta, publisher, former president of APNS and CPNE and a former senator, Syed Fasih Iqbal, passed away after a brief illness on Thursday night.
Meanwhile, the President of APNS, Sarmad Ali, has termed the death of Syed Fasih Iqbal a loss to the newspaper industry of Pakistan. He said that the services rendered by the deceased for the cause of journalism will be remembered. The vacuum his death has created will not be filled. The President of APNS, while praying to Allah to keep the departed soul in eternal peace, condoled with the deceased’s family.
