QUETTA Feb 21 (PPI): Special Magistrate QESCO arrested 11 persons for electricity theft during his surprise raid in Brewery Sub Division.
QESCO sources told here Friday that during special drive Special Magistrate Mahmood Ahmed Lehri raided Brewery road sub division and arrested 11 people red handed while stealing electricity. QESCO Magistrate fined them under Electricity Act 39 and announced 19 thousand Rupees fine. Two persons were sent to jail for non payment of fine.
Raiding team also disconnected dozens of illegal connections during surprise raid.
