Balochistan Sports Festival from March 22-27

QUETTA Mar 4 (PPI): Present Government has decided to organise Balochistan Sports Festival 2014. It would be held form March 22 to 27 in which 26 sporting events would be contested including football, cricket, hockey, cycling, crate, Chess, Squash, Boxing, Shooting, Badminton and others. Balochistan Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch would be chief guest at the inaugural ceremony.
This was stated by provincial minister for Sports Mujeebur Rehman Muhammad Hasani at a Press conference here Tuesday.
Spokesman f Balochistan government Jan Muhammad Buledi was also present.
He said a marathon race would be held from Airport road to Balochistan Assembly on March 29. He aid after Provincial Games Inter provincial sports contests would also be held.
He said at Sports Festival coinciding Pakistan Day more than 800 players would take part in 26 sports. He said Government of Balochistan has released rupees 10 million for the Sports Festival with immediate effect. He said fool proof security would be provided for this festival and national games would also be organised after this festival. He said if youth from Balochistan are provided an opportunity to show their skill there is no reason they do not show their ability at the national and international levels.
