Pakistan's radar has no information about missing Malaysian plane: FO

ISLAMABAD March 18 (Online): Foreign Office Spokesperson Tasnim Alsam said Pakistan’s radar has no information about the missing Malaysian passenger plane.

Speaking to a Chinese news agency, she said that Pakistan is ready to share any information with the Malaysian authorities if it was available.

"No information about the Malaysian plane is available at our radar as it has not entered our space," Tasnim Aslam was quoted as saying.

"Our radar system has no information about the Malaysian aircraft as it has never contacted our control tower," she added.

She said: “an emergency is declared and the Pakistan Air Force moves into action when any aircraft flies illegally in Pakistan airspace”.
