Arrest-warrants issued for Actress Meera, Captain Naveed in obscene video case

LAHORE March 18 (Online): Session Court on Tuesday issued arrest-warrants for actress Meera and her spouse Captain Naveed in a vulgar video case due to non-appearance before the Court.
Earlier, a resident of Lahore had filed a petition in Session Court at Lahore against the unethical video case and has adopted a stance that the video was against ethics and Islamic teachings, which has badly damaged Pakistan’s reputation across the world.
In the previous hearing of the case, the court had ordered actress Meera to appear before Court on Monday (18 March) in person however both Naveed and Meera did not appear before Court and neither any reply came from their lawyer which led the Court to issue arrest-warrants.
