Vested interest trying to sabotage peace talks: Fazl

LAHORE, 16 Sep (Online): JUI Ameer Maulana Fazl-Ur-Rehman has said that hidden hand had started their nefarious endeavors to sabotage efforts to promote peace and harmony in Pakistan.

Central media cell reports that while addressing various delegations in D.I. Khan, he also strongly condemned the martyring of high-ranking Army officials in Upper Dir
, declaring it as a major issue.

“Efforts to promote peace and harmony had started, when conspiracies have been let loose to sabotage the noble endeavors”, he regretted, cautioning both government and militants to proceed with utter care about the issue and remain consistent about their intentions for peace and harmony.

He also expressed JUI’s endeavors to strengthen the virtual Pakistan rather than “new Pakistan” (PTI’s slogan, agenda), warning that JUI would resist any move to implement this (PTI’s) new agenda merely because of a new slogan (“New Pakistan”); as such elements (PTI) had a questionable agenda.

Fazl-ur-Rehman also urged use of public assets in electioneering campaign of NA-25, and while demanding Election commission to take notice of the violation, has said that all conspiracies to derail JUI would fail.
