LAHORE, Sept, 16 (APP): Amar Cables beat SPM Bucks by 14 runs in a rain
hit match of the First Aftab Qarshi T-20 Veteran Cricket Tournament match at Shah Faisal Cricket Ground here on Monday.
Brief scores, cables elected to bat reached 148/7 in 20 overs. Rauf Wain
top scored with 53, Muhammad Arif 40, Muhammad Munir 22 & Aziz-ur-rehman 16 runs. SPM Bucks bowling Safdar Ali 3/23, Nadeem Baig 2/20 & Muhammad Rasheed 2/27 wickets.
In reply, SPM Bucks were 114/6 in 16 overs when the rain came and the
match was stopped.
Ashfaq Aslam 29 runs not out, Tariq Mehmood 21, Kamran Mirza 18 &
Tauseef ur Rehman 11 runs.
Amar Cables bowling Zahid Khan 2/25, Muhammad Munir 1/17, Rauf Wain 1/20
& Tariq Hussain Raju 1/20 wickets. Muhammad Asif and Qaisar Waheed were the umpires of the match. Muhammad Qazim & Qasim Shafiq were the scorers.
End of the match, Chief Guest Ameer Ali gave away man of the match award
to Rauf Wain.
