Rallies in support of Army, ISI in Kohlu, Barkhan, Zhob

SIBI May 4 (PPI): A Rally was taken out in support of Army and ISI in Kohlu and Barkhan Sunday.
Hundreds of people participated in the rally in Kohlu under the leadership of Ismail Khan Marri. Participants carried placards and banners inscribed with slogans in support of Army and ISI.
Addressing the participants of rally Ismail Marri, Qayyum Marri, Wadera Rab Nawaz Marri and others said that character assassination of Army and ISI under the cover of freedom of Press is intolerable. Speakers said attack on Hamid Mir is dirty conspiracy but without proof and investigation labeling allegations on country’s defenders is a crime. They said those associated with Jang and Geo with playing with anti state elements. To seek pleasure of foreign masters Geo TV was involved in mud slinging against Army and ISI. It has hurt people of Kohlu. Marri Tribes would not allow open criticism of Army, ISI. Marris played key role in the establishment of Pakistan. Still Marri people are ready for the defence of Pakistan shoulder to shoulder with Pak Army and other institutions.
They called for registration of cases against those leveling allegations against ISI and Army in special courts.
Participants chanted full throated slogans in support of Pakistan and against Geo TV and dispersed peacefully.
BARKHAN: A rally led by Abdul Salam Khetran son of MPA Abdul Rehman Khetran was taken out here today to pay tributes to Army and ISI here today. Hundreds of citizens took part in the rally who carried Pakistan national flags , banners and placards inscribed with different slogans.
Addressing the rally Abdul Salam Khetran and others said that services of Pak Army, ISI are unforgettable. They have faced every difficult situation. They played vanguard role against anti state elements, for security of country’s frontiers and thus performed their responsibility. Geo and Jang played a role by leveling allegations can be leveled by anti state elements. We are grieved over attack on Hamid Mir but unjust criticism on Army and ISI and profaned against them at the open TV discussion is condemnable.
We have respect for Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif, DG ISI Lt General Zaheerul Islam for their love for the country and are proud of their leadership.
They said the have respect for Freedom of Press also but yellow journalism is unacceptable.
They demanded registration of cases for maligning Army and ISI and immediate action should be taken against them.
ZHOB: Political parties and tribal staged a demonstration in support of Army and ISI and against Geo news and Jang group at Central Chowk here today.
Flags of Israel and India and Geo News logo were burnt. Announcement of boycott of Geo News and Jang Group was also made.

PML provincial leader Abdul Sattar Kakar, Abdul Rahim Mandokhel and others said that Pakistan Army and ISI are institution of defence of Pakistan but Geo News and Jang Group leveled unjust allegations and roved to be enemy of the country. They said people would not led any conspiracy against Army and ISI to succeed. They demanded government should immediately impose ban of Geo news and Jang Group.
