Police impound 52 bikes, 13 vehicles during general hold up

ISLAMABAD, September 17 (Online): Islamabad Capital Territory Police on Tuesday impounded 52 bikes and 13 vehicles during general hold up while black sheets from 38 vehicles were also removed besides fine to them, a police spokesman said.
According to details, SSP Islamabad Muhammad Rizwan has directed all police officials to ensure effective security and patrolling measures in their respective areas. Police officials have been directed to take strict action against vehicles being driven without documents and criminal elements.
In compliance of these directions, Islamabad police impounded 52 bikes and 13 vehicles during general hold up. Black sheets were removed from 38 tinted glasses vehicles while police also apprehended 04 suspects during search operation in various areas of the city.
SSP Islamabad Muhammad Rizwan has appreciated the overall performance and directed all police officials to ensure effective policing measures in their respective areas.
