10 terrorists killed in search operation

QUETTA May 5 (PPI): Ten terrorists were killed and three FC troops sustained injuries in a massive search operation launched by FC in most difficult mountainous areas N-85 area.
According to FC Spokesman FC Special Operation Wing , Awaran Militia and Panjgur Rifles carried out search operation early Monday morning against terrorists involved in attacks on security forces, relief teams in rehabilitation of earthquake hit people and those working on national development schemes in Panjgur. This terrorist group conducted seven attacks of FWO parties during past three months particularly staff working on N-85 in which two personnel one each of FC and FWO were martyred and 3 were injured.
Terrorists hiding in most difficult mountainous terrain started firing on FC personnel. Fire was returned. Terrorists used Mortar shells, rockets and hand grenades besides heavy fire against FC men. However FC personnel killed ten terrorists. Three troops were also injured in exchange of fire who were airlifted to Quetta by helicopter.
Helicopters were used for supply and reinforcement of forces. FC seized automatic weans, rocket launchers, explosive material, IEDs and large quantity of weapons and detonators.
