QUETTA may 5 (PPI); Nurses held protest demosntrtiona t Civil hospital ehre Monday against torture of doctor and stop work at his ward.
According to details a doctor tortured a senior nurse in operation theatre of the hospital. Nurses on the call of Balochistan Nursing Federation staged protest demonstration against this and demanded that surgeon involved in torturing the nurse should be placed under suspension and departmental inquiry should be initiated against him. Till their demand is met no nurse would work in the ward of the said surgeon. Nurses said that excesses have been made against them earlier and protest s wee made against this. Dignity of any nurse would not be allowed to be spoiled. Hospital management and government did not pay any attention towards this end which resulted in today’s incident. A senior doctor badly tortured a nurse and snubbed on her face.
Nurses said if Government and hospital administration did not take any notice of this incident their protest would continue.
