ISLAMABAD May 8 (Online): Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar has said that PTI has been allowed to hold peaceful demonstration in Islamabad.

Speaking in National Assembly on Thursday, he said Islamabad administration would fully cooperate with PTI for their peaceful demonstration, adding that the party should also choose a place which caused no inconvenience for anyone.

On the issue of alleged rigging during general elections, Chaudhry Nisar said govt doesn't have powers to probe rigging, recalling that ECP Chief Fakhruddin G Ebrahim was nominated by PTI while PMLN's candidates were rejected.

He said not a single name nominated by PMLN was taken in caretaker setup anywhere across Pakistan, and even I had held presser against Najam Sethi while Shahbaz Sharif had also declared Najam Sethi as biased. -
