ISLAMABAD, May 09 (NNI): Chief of Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party, Mehmood Khan Achakzai, Friday advised the PTI Chief, Imran Khan, to raise his complaints in the parliament instead making hue and cry on the streets.

Speaking at the National Assembly, Achakzai said the street protest is against the spirit of democracy as such politics could pose serious threat to the democratic setup.

“Solution to all problems could be found in the parliament,” he insisted.

About the election fraud allegations, he said rigging in election is not new in Pakistan and the house should not waste time on the issue.

“All parties should sit together in the parliament and decide to correct the system. But unfortunately a pandemonium was created in the house. This attitude will defame the elected house,” Achakzai said.

The Pashtoon nationalist leader said the country would be in danger is the parliament was plunged into crisis. He said that some members do not spare time for the assembly, adding those members should quit who cannot give time to the house.

He suggested that the assembly should hold session for at least five hours. He called upon the speaker to ensure proceedings in accordance with the rules. He regretted that the house was not run under the agenda on Friday
