ASF attack: Red alert declared at all airports countrywide

Islamabad, June 10 (Online): After terrorist attack on Airport Security Force academy adjoining Karachi international airport, authorities have put security on ‘red alert’ at all international airports across the country.
High alert has been announced at Islamabad/Rawalpindi, Lahore, Peshawar, Multan, Sukkur, Nawabshah and Quetta airports.
Holidays of ASF personnel at all airports were also cancelled.
According to sources, extra contingents have been called at Islamabad’s Benazir Bhutto International Airport, with enhanced snap checking of vehicles at entry point of the airport.
Only passengers are being allowed to enter in all airports, officials said.
On the other hand, flight operations were again temporarily suspended at Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport after Tuesday attack on ASF academy.
Earlier on Sunday 31 people, including 11 security men were, in late night attack, all ten terrorists were also killed in 5 hours long operation.
